Now that the identity of the brand has been established, we can take a look at how all of the different components I have developed come together.

Advertising and Print

I started by creating some adverts for the brand, these would help establish a tone of voice and put the brand in a public space. I created these using the line assets derived from the wordmark.

These were fairly straight forward to create as I had already created the assets, I just had to figure out how to apply them appropriately. I think they look great and I am keen to see how they would look when in a real public space.

I started by creating some mock ups using free resources available to me online. This was mostly via figma and some bespoke mock up websites. Here is how the mock ups look when applied to real signage.

I think these signs turned out great and really help the brands presence be known. I feel that they are quite unique and I would like to say that they would catch my eye if I were to walk by one. I feel the use of the line assets has been applied perfectly here and I believe it is the reason for that unique feel I get from the signage.

Bank Cards

As a bank brand, one of the key touch points that customers will interact with is of course the bank cards used for purchasing goods and withdrawing cash. I didn’t want to over complicate these cards as I found myself getting carried away creating many variations of card that weren’t necessary for the brand, e.g travel cards. I found the best way to create these was to follow the brands colours and create different variations based on that. These cards don’t serve different functions in accordance with their colour but rather offer customers the ability to customise their banking experience with spire, within the limitations of the brands identity.

Here is how those cards look.

As you can see, super straight forward, clean and functional. The consistency of the brands colours really show here and help to give it a kick that some bank cards seem to lack in my opinion. Now it’s time to see how these cards look when applied to some mock ups.

These mockups bring a little more life to the cards and allow them to become more than just a flat design but a real physical object. I am happy with how they turned out and i can imagine myself owning one, specifically the white one. I think the fact i gravitate toward the one one might suggest that the mint colour could be stronger when used as an accent colour rather than primary, this is something to note moving forward.
