This week we held a class critique for our music player projects.

Critique

This weeks critique went quite well. I received a generally positive reception, after spending some time honing in on the fundamentals, as mentioned last week. My class mates responded well to the concept and the app design itself was good but left room for work. Here is what my class mates had to say.

My classmates thought that my icons worked well and that I should continue down this path. This is good to hear as it took me a few tries to get them right so it is nice to know it has paid off. There were some concerns about my text being too small and that the prototype I was using wasn’t ideal as the screen was a little smaller. The small text is something I plan to fix but in regards to the screen size, I chose that screen as it is the phone I own, this means when viewing prototypes on my phone if they aren’t this size then they become cropped out of frame. It may be something I change I am just unsure whether or not it is priority. A few feature suggestions were made in regards to my ‘dig’ feature and I was asked to expand upon the prototype to make it more immersive. Overall this has been a great critique and I have lots to build on going forward.
