This week we held a class critique for our diagrammatic dashboards.
This weeks critique was fantastic. I received perhaps my best reception yet which is a great feeling. I was struggling with my dashboard initially but it took some time to find my feet and it seems to have paid off. I know now that I am on the right track but let’s see what my classmates had to say.
My peers thought that stylistically my dashboard was great. They said that is worked well and that the colours were good. I was told essentially to make it a little more visual using more icons and including more of my own little illustrations. One of my classmates even drew a little cash note for me, how nice. Aside from that I was advised to be aware of data hierarchy. Overall a great feedback session that has given me enough to make some notable changes to my dashboard.
